Travis is a country music traditionalist with his main influences being Merle Haggard; Slim Whitman; and a true Australian balladeer, Ian List, Travis’s father.
Travis was born in South Australia, and grew up in One Tree Hill where his family still resides. From age 7 he toured with the family band and later had success touring with his sister for 5 years.
He quickly moved on to solo performances and as front man for well-known South Australian bands. After numerous accolades and awards, he found that song writing was the next obvious progression in his career.
In 2002 Travis graduated from the Australian College of Country Music.
He now showcases his latest songs and stage show each year at the most prestigious country music event in Australia, the Tamworth Country Music Festival. He also regularly performs at the top country music venue in South Australia, The Country Barn Show.
After two decades of performing and entertaining in Australia, Travis now resides Nashville.
Travis is happy to be part of the Australian country music family and has been truly blessed by having the opportunity to perform on the world stage.
