Alcohol: is the Festival licensed?

Yes, the Festival is a licensed area and alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase (including spirits). All patrons wishing to purchase alcohol must have photo ID.

Animals: are pets allowed at the Festival?

No, pets are not allowed into the Festival site. Guide dogs are, of course, allowed at the Festival site.

Artist Line Up: I only want to see one particular artist, if they cancel can I get a refund?

In the very unlikely event that any artist cancels, there will be no refunds. The ticket is for the EVENT, not the individual artists.

Artist Playing Times: when are the playing times going to be released?

They will be up as soon as possible, keep your eye on our website http://www.cmcrocks.com and sign up to the mailing list to make sure you have all the updates.

ATMs: will there be ATMs at the Festival?

Yes, there will be a limited number of ATM facilities at the Festival.

Camping: is there camping onsite?

No, but details of camping grounds and motels and hotels in the area are outlined on both the Event and Accommodation pages. Click here for more info.

Cameras: can I bring a camera?

Personal digital cameras are permitted at the Event. SLR cameras are permitted but professional photography equipment (eg telephoto lenses; any lens over 20cm; any detachable lens) is not permitted without Promoter- issued media accreditation.

Festival staff will determine in their discretion whether equipment is considered to be professional photography equipment. If you’re not sure we suggest you leave it at home.

Photos of artists and/or the Festival are permitted only on the basis that:

1. images are only used for private and personal use; and
2. images cannot be made available for sale and/or public display.

Recording or filming the Festival is strictly prohibited.
Promoter reserves the right to confiscate and/or delete any footage, recordings and/or photos created by unauthorised or prohibited recording, filming or photography.

Chairs: can I bring my own chairs to the Festival site?

Chairs are allowed except in the semi-circular Chair Exclusion Zone in front of the stage. There is no specific rule as to what size chairs need to be, but we suggest you bring a low profile chair. You can only bring one chair per person.

Please exercise common sense and ensure that your chair is easily portable and will not cause obstruction. The Festival staff will determine in their discretion whether a chair is suitable or if it needs to be moved.

If a chair in the seating area is left unoccupied for more than 30 minutes, it may be removed by Festival staff. You can collect your removed chair from Lost & Found located at the Entry Gate Marquee. Any uncollected chairs will be given to charity.

Cloakroom Facilities:

There are no cloakroom facilities available.

Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. Under no circumstances are Festival staff able to hold or look after confiscated items and the Festival accepts no responsibility for any items that are confiscated. If in doubt, leave at home.

Concessions: is there a pensioners or concession ticket available?

No, we only have two standard ticket prices: Adult (15+ years) and Junior (4-14 years)

Disabled Patrons: is there ample car parking for disabled patrons?

Yes, there’s ample parking for disabled patrons. Please refer to Parking Facilities listed below.

Early Bird Tickets: do I need a pre-sale code for purchasing Early Bird tickets?

No, if you’ve previously purchased tickets to CMC, you’ll receive an email with all the details of the
Early Bird Pre-Sale.

EFTPOS: will EFTPOS be accepted at the Festival?

Please note that there are limited EFTPOS and cash-out facilities available at the bars. Everything else at the Festival is CASH ONLY.

Entry Gate: where’s the Festival entrance located?

The Entry Gate is located behind the Civic Theatre.

First Aid: will there be First Aid at the Festival?

Yes, there will be two First Aid locations at the Festival:

• located near Entry Gate (behind the Civic Theatre); and
• in the centre of the General Admission standing area (near the V8 closed track).

Food & Drinks: what kind of food and drinks are going to be sold at the Festival?

An extensive range of food and beverages will be available at the Festival site. Food will include snacks such as hamburgers, chips, nuts, fruit and ice-cream. Food available ranges from gourmet pies to restaurant-style meals. The various food stalls will cater to all dietary requirements.

Food & Drinks: can I bring my esky with food or drinks into the Festival site?

The Festival is fully catered and licensed and STRICTLY NO BYO FOOD OR BEVERAGE (including water) is to be brought onsite.

This will be enforced by Festival staff at entry gates and food and beverages will be confiscated and not returned. Under no circumstances are Festival staff able to hold or look after confiscated items and the Festival accepts no responsibility for any items that are confiscated. If in doubt, leave at home.

Free drinking water will be available at the Festival. You can bring in empty plastic bottles or plastic or foam cups for this purpose.

Food can be purchased from the food stalls and bars at the Festival site.

Footwear: what sort of shoes do you recommend I wear? Can I wear steel capped boots?

The Festival site is grass underfoot so we recommend you wear comfortable, flat shoes. You can wear steel capped boots.

General Admission: what is General Admission?

CMC Rocks North Qld 2014 is a General Admission standing event.
This means there is no reserved or allocated seating.

You can bring your own camping chairs (refer to guidelines in Chairs above).

Chairs are allowed in all areas except in the semi-circular Chair Exclusion Zone in front of the stage.

Lost and Found?

If you lose something at the Festival, please leave your details at Lost & Found located at the Entry Gate Marquee.

If you find something at the Festival, please hand it in at Lost & Found before you leave.
After the Festival, please email us at info@chuggentertainment.com with full details (including your name, contact number, email address, postal address and as much info as you can about the item that you’ve lost). We’ll do our best to reunite items with their owners.

Parking Facilities:

Parking will be available at various sites close to the Festival site. Further details will be up on our cmcrocks.com shortly.

There is limited parking available in streets surrounding the Festival site. Parking is NOT permitted at the Civic Theatre.

Passouts: will passouts be allowed?

Passouts will NOT be available on the day.

Once you enter the Festival, if you decide to leave you will not be allowed to re-enter.

Phones: my phone takes photos and videos … can I bring it into the Festival?

Yes of course, but we do not endorse the recording by you of any artist performances at the Festival.

Prams: are prams permitted?

Yes, prams are permitted into the Festival site.

Due to the Festival’s sound amplification, we recommend that all small children wear earmuffs.

Searches: will my bags be searched?

Yes, everyone and their belongings are subject to search upon entry.
Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned.

Seating: is there any seating at the Festival or is it all General Admission?

All tickets for the Festival are General Admission (refer to General Admission above).

Smoking: can I smoke in all areas of the Festival site?

No, smoking is only permitted in one designated area within the Festival. There will be signs to let you know where this smoking area is located.

Stalls: can I set up a stall at the Festival site?

No, all stalls have already been allocated.

Ticket Availability: when is the latest I can purchase tickets online?

Tickets will be available to purchase online until 11:59pm on Thursday 25 September 2014, unless sold out prior.

Ticket Group Discounts: is there a group ticket discount available?

No, unfortunately there are no group ticket discounts available. You’re allowed to buy up to 6 tickets per transaction.

Transport: what’s the best way to get to the Festival?

We recommend you take the bus.
Sunbus will operate their regular services routes from suburban areas.

Details of the Sunbus services and any Park and Ride services that may be available will be put on our website shortly.

Video Recorder: can I bring a video recorder?

No, you’re not allowed to bring any video, recording or filming equipment or cameras to the Festival unless you have media accreditation issued by the Festival Promoter.

Umbrellas: can I bring an umbrella to the Festival site?

No, umbrellas are not permitted onto the Festival site.

Weather: what happens if it rains?

It is the Promoter’s policy to play, rain or shine.
In the case of rain, ponchos will be available for purchase.
