*There is a strict policy of one vehicle per Camping Spot*

If you are arriving in a vehicle that does not have a bar-coded Camping Vehicle Pass you must proceed directly to the Overflow Carpark. You’ll be required to park and unload your vehicle and a shuttle service will be provided to transport you and your belongings to the Camp Site. Check the Festival website for shuttle operating hours. You will not be permitted to enter the Camp Site to unload and then park your car.

 

ALCOHOL AT CAMP SITE

*The Camp Site is strictly an alcohol free zone*

All vehicles entering the Camp Site may be searched and any alcohol found will be confiscated and not returned and the offending patron(s) ejected from the Festival Site and Camp Site for the remainder of the Festival.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Prohibited Items include but are not limited to:

  • Alcohol - any alcohol found at the Festival Site or the Camp Site will be confiscated and the offending patron(s) ejected from the Festival Site / Camp Site for the remainder of the Festival
  • Whips
  • Glass
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind (including potential missiles)
  • Illegal substances
  • Flares, fireworks, sparklers, any fire twirling equipment
  • Drums
  • Fires and open flames
  • Flammable liquids (container / jerry cans with flammable liquids will be confiscated)
  • Sound systems
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Couches
  • Anything studded (ie belts, wristbands, etc)
  • Audio or video recording devices (including GoPro and similar)
  • Professional photography equipment (eg telephoto lenses; any lens over 20cm; any detachable lens; stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks) or other commercial equipment or anything deemed by Festival staff to be professional photography equipment)
  • Skateboards, scooters, wagons, carts, rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, quad-bikes, segways, hoverboards, self-balancing scooters or any personal motorised vehicles
  • Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police/emergency service dogs)
  • No unauthorised solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc
  • Any other item deemed to be dangerous or offensive or potentially dangerous by Festival organisers

Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons. 

Any persons found to be in possession of Prohibited Items will have those Prohibited Items confiscated and they will not be returned. 

Any persons found to be in possession of illegal substances or partaking in illegal activities will be removed from Festival Site / Camp Site and will be referred to the police.

You are responsible for checking all Festival information and ensuring you have purchased the correct Camping Tickets and Festival Tickets for the Festival. No refunds will be processed if you make an error in connection with your ticket purchase.

Camping Tickets (Wristbands)

To enter the Camp Site each person needs a 3 Day Festival & Camping Wristband.

If you only have a Festival Ticket (1 Day, 2 Day or 3 Day) you will not be allowed to enter the Camp Site for any reason whatsoever. 

Your 3 Day Festival & Camping Wristband must be worn at all times on the Camp Site – failure to do so may result in your eviction from the Camp Site. Wristbands that are removed or tampered with will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced.  Damaged or defaced Wristbands will not be accepted.

Camping Terms and CondItions

IMPORTANT All of the terms and conditions that apply to the Festival itself (including those provided to you when you purchase a Festival Ticket or as shown on the Festival website or at the Festival Site) also apply to the Camp Site. These Camping Terms and Conditions are in addition to and must be read in conjunction with the Festival T+Cs.

Terms and Conditions are Binding: tickets to the Camp Site are sold or given and admission to the Camp Site is granted on the express condition that you are bound by these Camping Terms and Conditions and any other rules and regulations issued by the Promoter (Camping T+Cs). By purchasing a Camping Ticket you agree to be bound to the Camping T+Cs.

Directions of Festival Staff: you must follow the reasonable directions of Festival staff as required and comply with the law at all times whilst on the Camp Site.

Purchasing Your Camping Ticket: the Camping Wristband will allow you to camp for up to four (4) nights and four (4) days from:

        from 12:00 noon*  (AEST)  Thursday 23 March 2017 (*Subject to DA approval)
        until 12:00 noon  (AEST)  Monday 27 March 2017

Camp Site Access: no entry to the Camp Site is permitted before 12 noon*(AEST) (*subject to DA approval) on Thursday 23 March 2017.  Vehicle access into the Camp Site is not permitted before this time. 

Camping Spots:  Promoter reserves the right to amend or vary the advertised camping configuration, capacity, the date(s) of the Festival (without prior notification) and deny admission to the Camp Site with reasonable cause.

No refunds on tickets except where required by law or in accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for Ticketing of Live Entertainment Events in Australia which is available on their website (www.livepeformance.com.au).

Maximum Number of People on a Camping Spot: the number of Camping Tickets (Wristbands) will be issued based on the names supplied at the time of purchase. You must allocate a name to each Camping Wristband.  Whilst you cannot have more than the maximum number of occupants per Camping Spot, you can have less than the maximum number.

Selection of Camping Spot: all Camping Spots will be allocated by Festival staff on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to camp with friends, you must arrive together and have purchased the same size Camping Spot (ie Small, Medium or Large) as all Camping Spot sizes are in separate areas.

Entry: please have all your PDF Tickets (Festival, Camping and Parking PDF Tickets) ready to present to Festival staff on arrival to the Festival Site and/or the Camp Site. 

Alcohol: The Camp Site is strictly an ALCOHOL FREE ZONE.  All vehicles entering the Camp Site may be searched and any alcohol found will be confiscated and will not be returned and the offending patron(s) ejected from the Festival Site / Camp Site for the remainder of the Festival.

Noise: no noise is permitted in the Camp Site after 12:00 midnight (AEST).

Weather: please come prepared for all weather; the Festival and camping will proceed irrespective of weather conditions. No refunds will be made should you decide not to attend the Festival or the Camp Site due to inclement weather.  Footwear must be worn at all times.

Leaving the Camp Site: on departure of the Camp Site please make sure all your belongings, camping equipment, rubbish and vehicles are removed.  Promoter will not be responsible for any belongings left on the Camp Site and anything left behind will either be discarded or donated to charity.

Environment: CMC Rocks QLD cares for the environment and community.  Please be respectful and place any litter in the recycle or other bins provided around the Festival Site and Camp Site.  Be waste and water wise.

Security: please respect the Camp Site and your fellow campers. Unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in your eviction from the Camp Site. You will be evicted from the Camp Site if you behave in a threatening or inappropriate manner (aggressive, riotous, abusive, lewd or insulting actions) towards other patrons or Festival staff.  There will be 24 hour security at the Camp Site to ensure the safety and amenity of all campers. You are responsible for the safety and security of your belongings and Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of your possessions at the Camp Site.

Disabled Accessible Camp Site: if you wish to purchase a disabled access Camping Spot please call Moshtix on 1 300 438 849 who will facilitate payment.  No phone charge will be applicable.  Please note you will be required to provide details of your Mobility Parking Scheme permit issued by a regulatory authority (or equivalent proof of impaired mobility) and bring the original permit (or equivalent proof) to the Camp Site.
