Volunteers must be 18 years of age or over.

Volunteers will be required to commit to working 2 x six (6) hour shifts across the festival weekend.

As a volunteer you may be rostered to assist in any of the following areas:

• Meeting and greeting campers and festival patrons with a friendly smile and providing general festival information and directions.
• Monitoring facilities and amenities
• Wristbanding patrons at the entry gate
• Running errands around the site
• Assisting Traffic Managers, Security and Camping Management by directing campers and vehicles through the entry process and to designated campsites
• Scanning bus tickets on the shuttle service from Willowbank Raceway

• You’ll get some great hands on event experience and an insight on how things run behind the scenes, an opportunity to meet some new people and be part of our beloved CMC Community!
• A CMC Team care pack including a hat and tee
• A light snack, water and soft drinks during your shifts

Once you have completed your full 2 x six (6) hour shifts, you will be issued with 1 x Full (3 day) Festival Ticket. Until that time you will be wearing a Volunteer Wristband.

• Valid Photo ID
• Fully charged mobile phone
  
• Be prepared for all seasons. That includes:
  
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • A Hat
  • A Warm Jacket
  • Rain Coat
  • Gumboots
  • Footwear -only boots or closed toe shoes
• A good attitude and a smile

• Please refer to the list of Prohibited Items for the Festival.
• DO NOT BRING valuable items to the Festival.
• The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property.

All volunteers will be required to work a minimum of two (2) x six (6) hour shifts. Each six (6) hour shift will be on a different day.

You will undergo an induction - this is where you will learn some basic safety information and instructions on your duties.

You must register and sign in by showing your valid photo ID 15 minutes before your rostered start time. You will be provided with a Festival tee as part of your Team Pack.

You will be provided with a Volunteer Wristband that must be worn at all times. Once you have completed your 2 x full six (6) hour shifts, your Volunteer Wristband will be swapped for a Festival Wristband. You’ll be able to enjoy the rest of the show.

Festival Sites are very active with a lot of people. Always be aware of your surrounds, take care of yourself and others around you. If you see something that could possibly cause injury, harm or damage – please report it immediately to your manager / supervisor.

There are no facilities to allow volunteers to camp on site.

CMC Rocks will be on the lookout for a number of QLD based, experienced people to join our PAID Team in a variety of roles.

To be part of the Team, you must be 18 years of age or over, be available from 13 March – 18 March and preferably have demonstrated previous experience in Customer Service, Site or Event Administration, Event On-Ground work.
