Fusing steel-toed toughness with a visceral approach to songwriting, Kameron Marlowe’s sound is built around edgy electric twang, shades of gritty rock and a touch of bluesy tenderness, living comfortably in the darker corners of the honky tonk.
Fresh off the release of his debut album We Were Cowboys, produced by Dann Huff, Marlowe has been named to CMT’s 2023 Listen Up class of exciting new talent and the Opry Next Stage program, having been previously highlighted as One to Watch by Amazon Music, Pandora, Spotify, and more than a dozen media outlets.
We Were Cowboys features Marlowe’s Platinum-certified debut release “Giving You Up” and Gold-certified hit “Burn ‘Em All,” was one of 2022’s top streaming country albums on Spotify, and named one of the year’s best by Raised Rowdy and Entertainment Focus. Taste of Country hailed the breakthrough artist’s “commitment to making sure the stories he tells are powerful, vibrant and true” and the “evocative, cinematic and deeply personal” title track, which MusicRow called “Ferociously good.” Whiskey Riff also lauded the“down-to-earth, relatable” album that makes listeners “feel a kindred spirit with [Marlowe] as a writer, singer and overall grounded human being.”
Having opened for Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Thomas Rhett, Riley Green, and many more, Marlowe hit the road for his headline WE WERE COWBOYS TOUR in winter 2022, selling more than 22,000 tickets and playing to countless capacity venues. He’ll join Luke Bryan, and Jordan Davis for select dates throughout the year and made a memorable first appearance at Stagecoach.
Between it all Marlowe is writing and recording new music with releases expected throughout 2023.
