Yes. There are four separate campgrounds: Ace Campground, Buck Campground, Cowboy Campground and Denim Campground — each with a range of site types. 

All of these campgrounds are within the Willowbank Motor Sports Precinct, and they are the only official campgrounds run by CMC Rocks QLD.

Ace: formerly part of A Campground. We’re splitting A Campground into two  - Ace and Denim. 

Buck: formerly known as B Campground.

Cowboy: formerly known as C Campground.

Denim: formerly part of A Campground. We’re splitting A Campground into two - Ace and Denim.

All Campgrounds open Wednesday 18 March.

Noting, these dates are subject to final approval of our Traffic Management Plan and may change.

All Campgrounds open at 9:00am. Detailed entry instructions for each Campground will be provided closer to the Festival.

All campgrounds are in and around the Willowbank Motorsports Precinct. 

Ace, Buck and Denim Campgrounds are within the Willowbank Raceway area, and allow you to walk or hitch a ride on the tractor to the Festival. Cowboy Campground is just down the road at Queensland Raceway — use the Festival Shuttle Bus for easy transport between the Campground and the Festival site.

No. The Festival Stages are not visible from any campground.

The Inn is part of the Denim Campground and is a ‘set-up-and-go’ camping option where your tent is pitched for you. Options include:

• Small Tent (max 2 people)
• Medium Tent (max 4 people) 
• Both sizes come as:
  
  • Tent Only, or
  • Tent with Extras (single or double stretchers, mats, LED lantern)
  • Note: Linen is not supplied. Bring your own sleeping gear.

For the first time in 2026, Campers will be able to reserve their exact tent location at time of purchase. All preferences on extras can be nominated in your AXS Account post purchase from 10^th Sep.

A deluxe glamping experience in a pre-set up tent (for 2 people), complete with power.

Not all camp sites have power. There are both powered and unpowered camp sites to choose from (subject to availability at the time of booking). 

If you booked a powered site, each site is strictly allocated to one (1) only 10amp or 15amp outlet (with a max 15amp power capacity) per site.

Unpowered Sites:

• All Mini Sites

• Each camp site is strictly allocated to one (1) only 10amp or 15amp outlet (with a max 15amp power capacity) per site.
• In most campgrounds, a power outlet will be within 25 metres of your camp site - You must bring your own 25 metre extension cord, it must be inspected as safe to use and tested and tagged as per Electrical Testing Standard AS3760.

Be aware:

• Any extension cord joins, or power board external use must be contained in an approved weather resistant cover/safety box/joiner.
• It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure that all electrical items brought onsite are safe, compliant to Australin standards and not susceptible to inclement weather.
• If you overload the circuit or have faulty appliances tripping the RCD, your power outlet maybe isolated by the festival electrician and deemed unsafe.

Yes – but it must be turned off between Midnight and 7am each day.

No more than 20 litres of fuel per vehicle on a campsite (not including vehicles that have a ticket for Overflow Parking) can be brought into the Campgrounds. Empty jerry cans are permitted.

• One vehicle is allowed to park within site per Camp Site, except Mini Sites and The Inn – there is no on-site parking, the car park is in a nearby car park, 1x car permitted per site purchased only.
• All other vehicles must be parked in Overflow Car Park which aligns with the camp site you’ve purchased. All Overflow Car Park stickers must be pre-purchased from AXS.

Vehicle guidelines by site:

• Mini Sites/The Inn: No parking on site; park in designated areas
• Medium/Large/Ranch Sites: One vehicle max per site. Additional vehicles go to Overflow

Vehicles are permitted to park and unload their vehicle at their camp site before proceeding to the Overflow Car Park.

Every Vehicle entering the Camp Site must have a ticket in their name in their AXS Mobile ID Account for either:

1. Camp Site & Campgrounds Entry; or
2. Overflow Carpark Vehicle Pass for extra vehicles.

You will not be permitted to enter the Camp Site without one of these bar-coded passes under any circumstances.

No. Vehicles must remain parked at your site (or Overflow Car Park) until approved departure times.

Approved Departure Times are: 

• From 10:30 pm on Sunday 22 March 2026 –1:00am (AEST) on Monday 23 March 2026 and
• From 6:00 am – 12:00 pm (midday) (AEST) on Monday 23 March 2026

Note that departure between the below times will be restricted and staggered by Festival Traffic Marshalls with support from Festival Security and Police:

• From 10:30 pm – 11:30 pm (AEST) on Sunday 22 March 2026 and 
• ‍From 06:00 am – 09:00 am (AEST) on Monday 23 March 2026. 

Breach of this condition may result in your eviction from the Festival Site and Campground for the remainder of the Festival. If you are evicted for breach of this condition you will not be entitled to any refund for your Festival Ticket or Camp Site Camping Ticket.

You cannot leave the Campgrounds before the approved departure windows. Doing so may result in eviction without refund.

Each site is powered and sized for one setup only (caravan, camper trailer, horse float, etc). Even if two fit, we can’t provide extra power or facilities.

No. Only one vehicle is allowed per Camp Site. Additional vehicles must go to the Campground’s respective Overflow parking area.

If someone else (not a ticket holder) is delivering your setup, complete the Third Party Delivery Form. Form will be available closer to the Festival.

Yes – a sewage dump point is available. You must carry your own blackwater/greywater to the tank.

Yes – drinking water refill stations are available at all Campgrounds. There is no hose/tap access at individual campsites.

Yes, but follow safety guidelines:

• Never cook inside tents or enclosed spaces
• Blue flame only – orange/yellow means danger
• Store spare cylinders outside
• Don’t attempt to refill canisters
• Faulty or unsafe equipment may be confiscated by Marshals

No inflatable or plunge pools are allowed. CMC is an all-ages event and pools are a safety risk.

No. You cannot bring BYO alcohol into the Festival or Campgrounds.

Any persons found to be in possession of Prohibited Items must surrender those Prohibited Items to be permitted entry to the Festival and/or Campground. Surrendered items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. Any persons found to be in possession of illegal substances or participating in illegal activities will be removed from the Festival Campground and/or Campground and may be referred to the police.

A free shuttle will run to Riverlink Shopping Centre and Yamanto on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shuttle timetable available closer to the Festival.

All sites are allocated by Camp Marshals on a first come, first served basis, unless the camp site is sold as reserved which will be allocated at the time of purchase.  In 2026, The Inn and The Glampstead will be sold as reserved. 

To camp together:

• Purchase the same camp site type and size in the same Campground.
• ‍Arrive together (including any vehicles staying on the site) at the same time.

No – you must buy an Overflow Parking Ticket for the campground you’re camping in (Ace, Buck, Cowboy, Denim). For eg, if you’re camping in Buck, you need to purchase an Overflow Parking Ticket in Buck. 

Overflow Parking must be purchased in advance via AXS, and are subject to availability.
